This is an interesting visa. Some may consider it due to their workplace unjust treatment.
With this visa, you can
- Stay in Australia temporarily, to pursue your workplace exploitation claim
- Include members of the family unit in your visa application, if they are in Australia.
- This visa allows you to remain in Australia for up to 12 months while your Workplace Exploitation is being investigated
The Workplace Justice Pilot will have two phases implemented over two years, and has been designed to enable temporary migrants to remain in Australia while they seek workplace justice.
Eligibility
- Must be in Australia
- Have a substantive visa that has no more than 28 days remaining or that expired less than 28 days ago
- Have a certification of your claimed workplace exploitation matter and you are committed to seeking justice or redress within a timely manner
- Be able to support yourself
- Meet the health and character requirements
- Be a genuine temporary entrant
- Have adequate health insurance
