Privacy policy
How Visacorp collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Updated 27 July 2026.
Who we are
Visacorp Pty Ltd (ABN 52 098 630 481) is a Sydney practice of Australian registered migration agents. This policy covers the visacorp.com.au website and the personal information we handle when you enquire with us or engage us on a migration matter. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the professional obligations that come with registration as migration agents, including strict duties of confidentiality as set by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and uses no third-party trackers. The “Ask Visacorp” chat assistant runs entirely in your browser and does not send your questions anywhere. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server access logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and secure the service, as almost every website host does.
What we collect and why
If you send an enquiry through this site, we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, and the details of your situation. We use it for one purpose — responding to your enquiry — and it goes to our Sydney office only. We do not add you to marketing lists.
If you engage us on a migration matter, we collect the personal information the application genuinely requires. Depending on the visa, that can include identity documents, relationship evidence, employment and financial records, and health and character information. This is sensitive information and we treat it that way.
Who we share it with
Client information is disclosed only as needed to progress your matter and with your knowledge: to the Department of Home Affairs, and where relevant to review bodies such as the Administrative Review Tribunal, skills assessing authorities, state and territory nominating bodies, or other parties an application requires. Some of those bodies operate overseas posts as part of Australia’s visa program. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else’s marketing.
How we hold it and for how long
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and access within the practice is limited to the people working on your matter. As registered migration agents we are required to keep client records for the period set by our professional obligations, after which they can be securely destroyed.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask questions about this policy — contact details are below and in the footer of every page. We may verify your identity before releasing information. If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first and we will look at it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
